Passed the Ergometrics testing! Wahoo!

Yes, I passed Ergometrics with flying colors last week.  Now it’s on to the CritiCall testing phase.  No, that’s not a typo.  It’s called CRITI-CALL.  This testing involves a lot of data entry in a timed environment, entering things like names, address, phone numbers, license plates, VIN numbers, etc.  Alpha-numeric data like VIN numbers is what scares me.  I am a pretty good typist in general, but having to type a mix of letter and numbers like that – I am a little nervous about my typing speed and accuracy when doing that.

But at least, for now, I can take a breath and relax.  One more step is completed, and I am closer to my goal of becoming a 911 call taker and dispatcher.

Update:  Here are a few links to the rest of my journey:

I Passed the Criticall Exam!

  1. What is considered a passing score for the Ergometrics Ecomm test? I just took it last weekend…praying I make it to the next step!

    1. Sara – I am not sure what a passing score is, so I really can’t help much. It may be dependent on the agency; I’m not sure. But good luck to you, and I hope that you are moving one to the next step! Please let me know how you do; I will hope to hear back from you soon. 🙂

Good Luck on the criticall test.

    1. Don’t be nervous. Just take a deep breath before the test start and really focus on the videos and take good notes of the calls that you will hear on the video. use your common sense and you will be fine. 🙂
Thank you for the good luck wishes, and good luck to you as well. Let me know how it goes.
